Someone suggested to me recently that I may want to shorten the daily meditations to a paragraph or two. What do you think?
I think the length is just fine as you go into more depth then most daily meditations and it still just takes a few minutes to read. Time well spent!
I appreciate your response. I've tried to keep the Daily Meditation under 10 minutes to read, with most sitting at around 7 minutes. I'm hoping the length spurs one to read something else in the Bible or set up their mind and heart for prayer each day. Some might rather just have a paragraph or two for on the go, which would read in about 1-2 minutes.
I have often wanted to send the daily meditation to a friend or someone in need without using the web site link but the actual days message. How do I do this keeping where it came from without copying and pasting it to an email. I would like to give the message immediately, some people won't take the effort to click on something but will begin to read it if its right there in front of them when they open your email. As you know copying and pasting sometimes causes problems and misaligned paragraphs and words.
Just a thought.
John, great question. I have the settings on the site set to public for most everything . All you have to do is go to any page like the Daily Meditation and left click on the page once to activate it. Then , hold the left mouse button down and scroll over what you want to select it. Right click on the highlighted text and click on copy. You can then paste it in an email or a document . It works just like copying and pasting in a Word Document . Try it and let me know if it works ! I have other Pastors who copy/paste daily messages for their sermons ! Pastor Dave
